Have you ever sat around with your friends having a drink, at home or at the bar and come up with a crazy idea? Usually that’s all that comes of it; it’s just a crazy idea at the bar.
Well not this time. One night, sitting around having a glass of whiskey, we came up with the idea that we should find a way to be able to taste different and more expensive bottles of whiskey. By pooling our money we would be able to purchase more expensive bottles that we probably wouldn’t have initially bought for our own private collection. We got a hold of other whiskey amateurs that we knew would love to enjoy tasting and learning about new whiskies and officially had our first tasting. Our tastings usually consist of 3 or 4 bottles, tasting notes are provided and the host of the evening (which changes tasting to tasting) will provide everyone with some extra insights on the distillery and the bottles. To top it all off, by coming to one of our tastings, you always have the chance to go home with one of the bottles!
